  1. Law officer Deepika Deshwal became the first and youngest Indian girl to deliver a speech at the United Nations headquarters in New York City. 
  2. In a significant development, the Board of ITC Ltd has re-appointed Sanjiv Puri as the company’s Chairman and Managing Director for a period of five years, with effect from 22 July, 2024.
  3. As part of the third Culture Working Group Meeting of G20 in Hampi, under its ‘Culture Unites All’ campaign, the Culture Working Group, Ministry of Culture has set a Guinness World Record for the ‘Largest Display of Lambani Items’, showcasing a total of 1755 items.
